On Monday, October 11, Prism Club celebrated National Coming Out Day, which is usually celebrated on October 10. Members of the club put on events that promoted a positive and open environment for those here on campus. “We want to created a safe space and be allies for those wanting to come out. We want them to feel as comfortable as possible,” said club member Saferino Ramirez. One of the activities that the club put on was the marriage of two female lizards. There were many people in attendance to celebrate the national holiday.
