All eyes were on news outlets all week as Americans waited for votes to come to arrive in key battleground states. After Joe Biden flipped Wisconsin, Michigan, the wait for votes in Pennsylvania and Georgia became an overwhelming “turtle vs rabbit” race. Donald Trump, receiving many of his votes on election day, while Biden received his votes slowly over the week, as many of his voters opted to vote by mail due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Over the next days, Trump’s lead dwindled as the ballots came in.
