Media Release- Distribution of Methamphetamines

On January 1st, 2021, the Garden City/Finney County Joint Drug Task Force (JDTF) completed an investigation and obtained a search warrant for 301 N. 12th Street, Garden City, Finney County, Kansas.
The Garden City/Finney County S.W.A.T. team served the warrant at approximately 7:00 a.m. Carlos Gonzalez-Rivera (Age 22) of Garden City, Kansas, was located in the backyard and was taken into custody without incident. Victor Irigoyen (Age 23) of Garden City, Kansas was located hiding inside the residence and was taken into custody without incident.
During a search of the residence, the JDTF seized approximately 567 grams of suspected methamphetamine, approximately 2 grams of suspected marijuana, scales, and several pieces of drug paraphernalia indicative of distribution of controlled substances
Gonzalez-Rivera was lodged in the Finney County Jail and could face the possible charges of:
Distribution of Methamphetamine
Possession of Paraphernalia (F)
Possession of Paraphernalia (M)
Irigoyen was lodged in the Finney County Jail and could face the possible charges of:
Possession of Methamphetamine
Possession of Paraphernalia (F)
Possession of Paraphernalia (M)
Possession of Marijuana
