On October 3, 2022, Garden City Community College received a $25,000 contribution from Dream First Bank in the form of a tax credit. The current STEM Success Center project, a 10,000-square-foot addition to the Warren Fouse Science and Math building for classroom space devoted to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, is being funded in part by the sale of Kansas Department of Revenue tax credits by GCCC (STEM).

Through its membership in the Broncbuster Athletic Association (BAA) and the installation of ATMs on campus, Dream First Bank (previously First National Bank of Syracuse) has consistently supported GCCC. Additionally, at each of its six branches, Dream First Bank offers yearly summer internships to high school and college students.
