Bridget Mendler is making waves in today’s media with not only her impressive resume including being an actress and artist in her youth and then going to get her master’s in anthropology and social media at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After this, she then went to Harvard Law School and then got her Ph.D. at MIT at the same time. In 2024, instead of taking a break after 10-plus years of school, Dr. Mendler founded and became the CEO of Northwood Space. This company is an outer-space communication start-up that aims to mass-produce ground satellite stations. Bridget Mendler then dropped two weeks ago that she is also now a mother. Bridget Mendler truly is an inspiration not only to individuals who are inspired to become an artist but also to anyone who wishes to truly be a part of the change in what we know about Earth and space.  

It is truly special that we get to see a celebrity such as Bridget Mendler pursue a career in areas such as law and technology that we don’t see the average singer and actress participate in. Bridget shows us that if you want something bad enough you can do it. Never in my life did I expect her to fund a project worth over 6 million dollars for space. Of course, the internet had its suspensions and people have started to take to TikTok to express their theories on Bridget Mendler’s success, such as her being a time traveler. This conspiracy theory started gaining popularity when she started baiting her fans with a “time travel?” in her bio after everyone started questioning how she could still look so young and cover so much ground in school in just a short amount of time. I don’t think that anyone would have seen Bridget Mendler becoming Earth’s very own space lawyer, but she once said, to expect the unexpected.
