Leaves are falling and the air is getting crisp; that calls for some fall fun! The activities that can be done in fall are endless, you can find things that range from apple picking to just sitting on the couch and watching a spooky movie. Two of the most common things to do during the autumn season that will be sure to bring you lots of memories are going to a pumpkin patch or a haunted house. Depending on one’s personality might depend on which they would like to spend a Saturday in October doing. If you’re someone who loves picking pumpkins, getting lost in corn mazes, and taking cute pictures then it sounds like going to a pumpkin patch would be a therapeutic experience for you. On the other hand, if you’re an individual who thinks they are brave enough to walk through a chilling and thrilling scream fest adventure, then I think a haunted house would be a great fit for you.
Personally, I belong in the second category. Don’t get me wrong, a pumpkin patch is loaded with fun, but going to a haunted house is what I look forward to each October. Perhaps this is because I grew up going to them. Ever since I remember, my dad would take me during Halloween. It started out as walking through a little garage one, then advanced to a local haunted maze, and eventually a 15 minute one. Going through a house full of horrors is. What I love most about spook houses is being able to bring large groups of people with you that range from friends to family; leaving this as an experience everyone gets to do together. Oh and of course reminiscing on the funny reactions of the people you go through it with. This Halloween I encourage you to go to a pumpkin patch or a haunted house, I can guarantee you will not regret it!
