How many times have you used the Buster Biz app since you first downloaded it? Some of you now may be asking what the Buster Biz app even is. Others may be wondering if they had accidentally deleted it.
Just in case you do not already know, the Buster Biz app is a free-to-download app developed by Garden City Community College Inc. The app has been available in application stores for both IOS and Android since July of 2020. The Buster Biz app was important for many students during this time due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It provided many students both new and old to be able to follow along with the goings on at the college even if they were not able to be present on campus.
“I open the Buster Biz app every day! Sometimes I forget what day it is, and it has all of my classes for the day listed, it is really neat. I love it,” Brighdy Connors said.
In addition to viewing your courses every day there are various perks to the Buster Biz app. An extremely useful feature of the app, especially for newcomers, is the interactive campus map. The campus map is navigated via Google Maps so street names and locations relevant to Garden City are also available to view as well.
For those who live on campus, the cafeteria menu is also one of the favorite and most convenient features of the Buster Biz app. The application is tied to various other important tools for students such as Canva and MyGCCC. This allows for students to be able to have an easily accessible hub to view many of their essential technical tools.
Many campus services are offered as well like academic advising, financial aid and counseling are offered and easily accessible with just a couple of taps of the finger.
The most convenient aspect of the app is the option is to turn on push notifications. Users have the option of receiving a grade, lost & found posts and many other notifications on their lock screen or notification center.
There are endless perks included in the Buster Biz app so next time you feel like opening TikTok or Instagram reels maybe you should avoid the brain rot and guide yourself around the software for current and future references.
