The Kansas Kruisers and Garden City Community College are partnering up to bring a Kruise in and Pit stop to Garden City. The event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Saffell Parking lot at GCCC. The GCCC mobile lab will also be in the Saffel parking lot during the event to host an open house. Those who decide to come can tour the lab and ask questions regarding the use of the lab for meetings space and other events.

The Kansas Kruisers is a car club for all enthusiasts. The club will bring a selection of cars and other motorized vehicles to the GCCC campus on the evening of Oct. 12. The cars will be on display until 7:00 p.m. that evening in the Saffel parking lot. During this event, GCCC Auto Technology Students will teach new and experienced drivers how to perform certain tasks on a car like checking the fluids on a vehicle and gauging tire pressure. Visitors are encouraged to check out what the GCCC auto tech program has to offer for both the community and students during the event.
