On Sunday, Mar. 8. the Garden City Community College cheerleaders will attend the Region Cheer 6 Showcase in Wichita, Kan.  The cheer team started this school year with a new coach, Tiffany Minnick. She came from Arizona where she previously coached at Arizona Western College. She said her goal for this season was to rebuild the program. “It’s also a way for us to get our foot in the water and be ready for next season,” Minnick said.

The team was supposed to travel to California to go to the USA College Nationals, but due to last-minute changes, they were unable to go. Despite the setback, the team is excited that they are still able to go compete and show off their hard work.
