The Billboard Music Awards took place last night at 7pm. Post Malone along with Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Elton John, Khalid, and other big names in music took over last night’s show. The show was hosted by Kelly Clarkson, who hosted for a third year in a row. Those who attended the show were required to follow social distancing guidelines and some artists such as Billie Eilish wore masks. Post Malone led the night by being the most awarded artist of the night.

The highlight of the show, however, were the performances. Few of the artists who performed were Doja Cat who performed a choreographed performance, Alicia Keys who sang with her traditional piano, and Post Malone performing his recent hits. However, global boy band BTS who won top social artist for the 4 year in a row, stole the night by performing their number one song Dynamite. They performed in the Incheon International Airport alongside a virtual band that gave the upbeat song a jazzy feel.

Overall the night was fun and safe! Next year’s Billboard Music award dates haven’t been revealed yet, however, hopefully the show can take place with an audience present.
