The KSHSAA held Sub-State Volleyball over the weekend. The biggest stories were from the schools that we’re unable to compete due to covid. The other stories heading into state were the conjoined state sites. 6a and 5a states will share the Salina-Tony’s Pizza Events Center, 4a and 3a sharing HCC-Hutchinson Sports Arena, 2a and 1a D1 sharing United Wireless Arena in Dodge City, and 1a D2 being the lonesome group at the Emporia-White Auditorium. Quarter-Finals will begin Tuesday afternoon.
CLASS 6A

Garden City (19-13) at Derby (22-11), Wichita Northwest (12-1) at Washburn Rural (31-4), Lawrence Free State (18-13) at Olathe Northwest (26-0), SM Northwest (26-5) at BV West (21-7).
