On February 9th 2022, TRIO SSS and SGA sponsored a College Fair in the SHAFEL Library lobby.  Nineteen universities located in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas were ready to meet community college students and provide information about their school such as major programs, tuition, and possible scholarship opportunities.  

Kurt Peterson, the sponsor of TRIO SSS expressed how this event ties into graduation and transfer objectives for the US Department of Education for TRIO SSS students. Throughout the day roughly 100 students were able to attend and participate in this event. GC3 students got exposure to selecting a higher education that comes after community college.
