Hello everyone, my name is Michael Varela but here at the college everyone calls me Mikey or Big Mike. I got that second nickname from the football players while playing spring football for the Juco last spring. I am a sports administration major hoping to graduate this upcoming spring. I was born and raised here in Garden City. This is my first year in GC3 Media. My free time includes watching sports as well as staying active. I am a part of a lot of Recreational activities for the Garden City Recreational Center. I am also a track and field coach for the St. Mary’s Catholic track team in the spring. One good fun fact about me is that I am really good with electronics, I hope to help GC3 Media with all the electronic needs.
